NIBE had a vision: to create an exhibition stand that felt like a journey, not just a space.

Think IKEA-style storytelling with every twist and turn revealing something new. The goal? To draw visitors into the NIBE world through clever space planning, layered messaging and real theatre.

An island site gave us the freedom to explore this idea to the full – and the challenge of making it work from every angle.

Designing the journey

With over 30,000 professionals exploring the latest in heat, water, air, energy and the built environment, Installer Show 2025 is the UK’s biggest showcase of innovation for the sector.

Nibe wanted presence. Instant wow factor. A stand that would make people stop, explore and experience their brand in an exciting new way. We explored multiple routes – some too complex, some too static – before landing on a few layouts that brought the experience to life. Flow was everything. Every turn needed to deliver clarity and surprise in equal measure.

NIBE’s sleek visual identity gave us the perfect palette to build from. We layered in elevation, curvature and height – design features that brought the brand presence and guided visitors through a carefully crafted experience.

Adding the unexpected

This was a story in motion. To elevate the experience, we explored interactive elements that would leave a lasting impression. We talked persona marketing, segmenting content to connect with different types of visitors. We added a giant spinning fan for cinematic flair. We brought in a live nitrogen ice cream experience. And we introduced a live artist to capture the mood in NIBE tones.

Not everything made the final cut – but the ideas sparked something brilliant and the final mix was packed with personality.

Built for performance

Our in-house design team took the lead on creating the full visual layer, shaping messaging, layouts and surfaces to reflect NIBE’s tone and purpose. We engineered lighting and truss configurations to maximise stand impact from every angle – with moving heads and overhead spotlighting drawing people in from across the hall.

We pre-built the stand in our Farnborough HQ to ensure seamless execution on site, with detailed planning around product integration and modular reuse. Several elements were designed for future events – ensuring long-term value and a lighter environmental impact.

Show time

The result finished with a high-performing space filled with engineered storytelling. NIBE’s team welcomed a steady stream of visitors, creating memorable moments fuelled by a unique blend of content and creativity.
