This listing is for ONE (1) SHOP FOX W1410 fence for table saws. It can be used on SHOP FOX table saws and also other brands.. It is new, open box. Has a few light scratches here and there (VERY few and VERY light). Also included is the owner’s manual, instrux. And parts list, etc. We looked it over and it had some issues; such as: There were a few small parts missing which pertained to the adjusting mechanism… These have been replaced and then the mechanism was adjusted so that it works properly. Specifically, we replaced the bolt and tensioning spring in the rear of the fence. And added a couple of studs and an additional tensioning spring to the front mechanism– which now hold the clamping jaws open when you release the handle-cam in front, allowing the fence to glide along smoothly without drag. Before it was all pinched-up and the clamping mechanism could not function properly— just needed a little time and TLC. If you look online, you’ll find that this particular model is no longer in production (W1411 is now the model they make). However, you will also find that this fence is a sought-after coveted fence. Built very well, very accurate to. 003 tolerance, has ball bearing rollers for a lifetime of use an is commercial quality. We have never seen a bad review on these.. Everybody that has one loves them. Just the fence assembly only. Honestly guys, it may be better this way…. You can easily make your own out of steel or aluminum angle iron. The angle iron frame from an old bed-frame should work just right! You can get these for a couple of dollars anywhere—sometimes even for free!! Just cut it down to the lengths you need, drill holes in it to match your table saw’s top and extensions and you’re done. Details: The Main Fence rail is extruded aluminum (lightweight) 2-inches in width and 3-5/8 inches in height, and has a “T-Slot” built in along the top edge for jig or hold-down attachments. The distance between the roller wheels is adjustable between 29-1/2 inches to 30-1/4 inches. This is the outside-to-outside overall distance to the edges of the angle-irons you will be attaching to your saw, as guide rails for this device. So, if your cast-iron table, etc.. Is 27-inches deep, you’ll have from between 2-1/2 to 3-1/4 inches to accommodate these angle-iron or aluminum rails. Just follow the instructions in the owner’s manual (keeping their top edges below the dados in the table) and you should be just fine.
