It looks new, but it’s not. I personally cleaned it up and spray painted it the gray again. It does have a flaw as you can see in the pictures. It has a crack where it hugs the fence rail but it’s been welded. It’s not a very nice weld, other than that it works fine. Crack does not split open when clamp down. It’s been tested on another saw. Please look at pictures so you can see what I’m talking about.
